EINZELGANGER

My name is Thijs Geritz. I’m a Dutch designer. I can’t help venturing into many different areas of design, like illustration, motion graphics, graphic design, animation, sound and music. This website presents my audio projects.

Einzelganger is my solo project.

MOUCHES VOLANTES

Mouches Volantes is a project with Wouter Blok.

We have a hard time choosing between relaxing drones, disturbing soundscapes and danceable beats. We throw it all together.

It makes our music hard to describe but hopefully interesting.

Past performances include the Gogbot Festival, Antilounge,

Plein Open and Wonderwerp and TodaysArt.

Founded in 2007.

Latetst live recording is now available on Bandcamp.

Klankjes XXXII.

Now on BandCamp.

GERITZ / KAFFA

Geritz / Kaffa is the improvisation project with Stephan C. Kaffa.

We're making Klankjes (little sounds) using combinations of guitar, loops, field recordings and other sounds. And we never agree on anything.

Founded in 2013.

SONIC ATOMIC

"The Future was radiant" since 2004.

Relaxing the circuitry:

"Rhodos".

Latest sound:

Vismarkt, Utrecht.

FIELD RECORDING

An old hobby that grew big over the last years and gives me great pleasure.

A lot of these recordings end up being used in my music and live performances one way or another. Listen to those marked  ‘binaural’  with headphones.

KERNEL PANIC

Kernel Panic is a concert series I organize that brings together live acts with diverse styles in an effort to create an evening that's surprising and interesting to listen to; electronic and acoustic, from drones and soundscapes to elektro and sounds that are impossible to to describe. No DJ's.

Both established and novice acts have played on these evenings that are actracting a growing audience of sound enthusiasts.
